Whale Knives

Variation:
Each knife is hand forged so they may show slight variation. These knives require some extra care – please see below under ‘Care Instructions’.

History:
Yoshihiro Cutlery has specializedin handcrafted premium Japanese kitchen knives. for over 100 years.The origins of the techniques used to create Yoshihiro knives dates back to the 14th century medieval Japan, when blacksmiths who perfected the technique of handling fire, iron, and water started making swords.

Care Instructions:
Carbon steel knives are not stainless so they are not rust proof. Please make sure the knives are not immersed in water or left wet for any period of time. Please keep dry to prevent rust andapply a light coat of oil occasionally.

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee. Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
