Elemense Glass Mirror Tray

Description:
Designed by Tortoise General Store’s co-owner Taku Shinomoto, Elemense’s Glass Mirror Tray evokes looking into a pond, offering a time for reflection. These glass mirror trays are intended as a base for the Pottery Stone Diffuser, protecting tabletops and shelves from oil. However, trays are multifunctional with the potential to catch jewelry and protect surfaces as a trivet.

History:
TheGlass Mirror Tray was designed by Taku Shinomoto, Tortoise General Store’s co-owner. Shinomoto lives in Venice, California, having moved to the United States from Tokyo, where he worked as a furniture designer for Idee. Since then he has designed Hasami Porcelain, a brass line called S/N, as well as other products in Japan.He continues to design furniture in Los Angeles.

The Elemense is an incense line created by Nippon Kodo, Japan’s oldest incense company known as the original incense makers for the Emperor of Japan.
