Originally a rock musician, BALMUDA founder Gen Terao studied design and manufacturingbefore launching BALMUDA in Tokyo in 2003. Terao’s motivation for the technology-forward company is to create joyful, surprising and moving experiences through home appliances rather than a focus on eliminating inconvenience.
